Acerca de la automatización de SAP Ariba

Starting with UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities version 2025.10.19 and above, we introduce a new way of identification and automation of SAP elements of SAP Ariba. This allows stable and reliable identification independent from the dynamical nature of the interface.

The entire range of activities from the UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities package can be used for SAP Ariba automation. For some SAP Ariba specific controls, such as SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing and other SAP AribaWeb-built pages, we provide additional extended support. To learn more, refer to Supported SAP Ariba elements.

Identifying SAP Ariba elements

Many SAP Ariba web pages, such as Ariba Strategic Sourcing and Ariba Network Buyer, use the AribaWeb framework to display UI elements. Selectors for these elements are easy to identify by the presence of aw- attributes in the selector, which are specific to AribaWeb elements.

The following two attributes are commonly used across all AribaWeb elements:

Atributos	Descripción
aw-name	The name of the underlying AribaWeb element (e.g. DataTable, RadioButton).
aw-label	A human-readable label that identifies a specific element. This attribute is not always present, but when available, it is recommended that you use it instead of other attributes.

To achieve stable selectors in certain situations, you can also use other web attributes, such as id, tag, or class.

A selector for a SAP Ariba element contains the <webctrl> tag, similar to other web UI elements.

Navegadores compatibles

You can create SAP Ariba automations on the following web browsers:

• Google Chrome – requires the UiPath Extension for Chrome.
• Mozilla Firefox – requires the UiPath Extension for Firefox.
• Microsoft Edge (Chromium) – requires the UiPath Extension for Edge.

Actividades compatibles

You can use all activities included in this package, with the following recommendations and exceptions:

• Type Into – use the SimulateType property for consistent behavior.
• Click – use the SimulateClick property for consistent behavior.
• Table Cell Scope – unsupported for SAP Ariba pages.
