Communications Mining User Guide
Last updated Nov 27, 2024
Getting set up as an Automation Cloud user
To access Communications Mining™ on Automation Cloud, the following conditions must be met:
- Communications Mining™ must be enabled as a service on your Automation Cloud tenant by an Admin- to do this, an enterprise licence is required, and your Automation Cloud organisation must have AI units available
- You must be an existing user on the Automation Cloud tenant - If you are not an existing user, please ask an Admin on your Automation Cloud tenant to add you
Note: The access and permissions are on a per tenant basis, not a per organisation basis. If you have multiple tenants within your
cloud org, please ensure that you are being granted access on the same tenant that the Communications Mining™ service is enabled
on.
To get an account, an Admin on Communications Mining™ will need to create a new user profile for you from the 'Manage Access' page within the Admin console within the platform.
Note: The Admin cannot add you to Communications Mining™ until you have accepted your invite to the UiPath® Automation Cloud instance.
Once an Admin on Communications Mining™ has created a user profile for you, you will be able to access the platform by logging into Automation Cloud, and clicking the Communications Mining™ service on the lefthand toolbar.
Note: The platform only supports modern browsers, such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge. It is optimised to
work best on the latest versions of these browsers, so please keep your versions up to date.
