Creating steps from Task Capture recording

Add recorded Task Capture steps as manual steps to a test case using the step titles and descriptions from the Process Definition Document (PDD) file.

Context

• For each step in the recording, a manual step is added to the test case, using the step title and description from the Process Definition Document (PDD) file. In contrast, if the step titles are empty, the manual step title is set to Unnamed.
• Cualquier paso nuevo que cree a partir de una grabación se añade a cualquier paso preexistente.
• You can also use the Sync button from the header panel in Task Capture to export the workflow directly to your Test Manager location.

Requisitos previos

• Debes tener un caso de prueba documentado con Task Capture.

Pasos

1. Open a test case on the Test Cases page.
2. Navigate to the Manual Steps tab.
3. Select Create steps from recording and then confirm your action when prompted.

Resultado

The recorded steps are added as manual steps to the test case, and a confirmation message appears when the process completes.
