Step 3: Configuring system under test

Configurar usuarios de comunicación

The SUT needs the ECATT_ET_USR communication user, which you create manually.

Pasos

1. Crea ECATT_ET_USR en la transacción SU01.
2. Set the user type to System.
3. Set the same password for both users, in SAP Solution Manager and in the SUT, to ensure seamless integration.

Resultado

The ECATT_ET_USR communication user exists in the SUT with the user type System, and its password matches the one in SAP Solution Manager.

Habilitar scripts de GUI de SAP

Studio and Robots require SAP WinGUI scripting to be enabled on the local machine as well as on the server side, before you create your first automation projects for SAP.

Pasos

1. Go through the SAP WinGUI configuration steps.

Resultado

SAP WinGUI scripting is enabled on the local machine and on the server side.

Habilitar eCATT

Each client where testing takes place must allow eCATT to be executed.

Pasos

1. Inicia la transacción SCC4.

2. Selecciona los clientes correspondientes.

3. Ve a Detalles.

4. En la sección Restricciones de CATT y eCATT, establece eCATT y CATT en Permitido.

5. Selecciona Guardar para confirmar los cambios.

   

Resultado

eCATT and CATT are allowed on the selected clients. The System Under Test is ready for automated test execution through Test Manager.
