Filtering objects

Filter test objects by native properties such as Updated by and Studio Project, and manage columns and bulk label updates.

Narrow a long list of requirements, test cases, or test sets, for example to find all failed test cases for a product component. These filters are available in the Requirements, Test Cases, and Test Sets sections.

Filtering objects

Filters narrow the object lists in the Requirements, Test Cases, and Test Sets sections to the objects that match your criteria.

Pasos

1. Go to the desired test object section (that is, Requirements/Test Cases/Test Sets).
2. Selecciona uno o varios de los criterios de filtrado disponibles.

Resultado

The object list shows only the objects that match the filtering criteria you selected.

Managing the displayed columns

The columns of the object list show the native properties that you choose.

Pasos

1. To manage the columns that are displayed in the table, select Columns, and select or clear the check boxes of one or more native properties of the object. Select Apply. The Created by and Updated by columns show the user who created or last updated the object.

Resultado

The table shows the columns that you selected.

Adding a filter to the filter bar

A filter can appear as a standalone selection criterion in the filter bar.

Pasos

1. To have a filter appear as a standalone selection criterion in the filter bar, select More filters, and select or clear the check boxes of native properties or of custom fields (of the type label). Select Apply. To remove a filter from the filter bar, select More filters > Clear selection.

Resultado

The filter appears as a standalone selection criterion in the filter bar.

Viewing objects updated by users

Filtering by Updated by lists the objects that you or other users updated.

Pasos

1. To view objects updated by you or other users, select Updated by, and select or clear the check boxes of one or more users. Select Apply. To revert your changes, select the x sign next to Updated by.

Resultado

The list shows only the objects updated by the users you selected.

Updating custom fields in bulk

You can update a custom field of the type label for several objects at once.

Pasos

1. To bulk update the custom field (of the type label) for several data objects, select the check boxes of one or more objects, and then select Update. In the Update labels and custom fields pane, select a custom field, and perform the operation of interest: Add values, Remove values, Clear all values.

Resultado

The custom field is updated for the objects you selected.

Escenario

Desea comprobar todos los casos de prueba que fallaron para el componente del producto "Contabilidad".

Pasos

1. Crea el campo personalizado "Componente del producto". Añade "Contabilidad" como uno de sus valores.
2. Ve a Casos de prueba.
3. Selecciona Agrupar por y selecciona la casilla de verificación "Componente del producto".
4. En el panel Agrupar por , selecciona "Contabilidad".
5. Selecciona Más filtros > Último resultado. El filtro Resultado más reciente aparece en la barra de filtro. Expande el filtro Último resultado y selecciona la casilla de verificación Erróneo .
