Grant AI and Agentic usage top-ups to users from the User usage dashboard in Test Cloud, and monitor per-user monthly usage and paid-unit fallback.
The AI and Agentic usage pool is available on the Unified Pricing and Flex licensing plans. It is not available on Community. Feature availability also depends on the cloud platform that you use; for details, refer to the Feature availability page.
The User usage dashboard lets administrators monitor AI and Agentic usage for every user in the organization and grant top-ups when a user's monthly limit runs out. For background on how the monthly limit, top-ups, and fallback work, refer to AI and Agentic usage pool.
Requisitos previos
- You have the License Administrator role. A License Viewer can view the dashboard and export data but cannot grant top-ups. For details, refer to Licensing roles.
- Your organization has available purchased units in its distribution. Top-ups are withdrawn from Platform Units (PLTU) on Unified Pricing, or from Agent Units (AGU) on Flex.
Opening the User usage dashboard
- Ve a Administrador en el nivel de organización y selecciona Licencias.
- Selecciona la pestaña Consumibles .
- Select the User usage card to open the dashboard.
Result: The User usage dashboard opens, showing the Platform Units distribution meter, a paid-unit fallback banner, and the all-users table.
Reviewing user usage
The all-users table shows one row per user with the following information:
| Columna | Descripción |
|---|---|
| Usuario | The user's name and email address. |
| Licencia | The license that governs the user's monthly limit. When a user holds more than one license, the highest-tier license applies. |
| Monthly usage | The percentage of the monthly limit consumed in the selected cycle. |
| Top-ups | The number of top-up packs the user holds and the percentage of top-up usage remaining. |
| En uso | The source the user is currently drawing from: Monthly limit, Top-up, or Paid units. |
| Needs top-up | Whether the user has requested a top-up: Yes or No. |
To find specific users, use the search box and the License, In use, and Needs top-up filters at the top of the dashboard. A banner at the top of the user table states that paid-unit fallback is on for all users. Users who have requested a top-up show Yes in the Needs top-up column.
Granting a top-up
You can grant a top-up from any row or from the user's detail view.
-
In the all-users table, locate the user who needs a top-up.
-
Select Grant top-up on the user's row.
-
In the Grant top-up dialog, review the recipient's usage:
- The monthly limit status.
- The top-up usage.
- The top-ups already granted this distribution period.
ADVERTENCIA:A top-up is consumed from the distribution when granted and cannot be returned or reassigned. Unspent top-ups expire with the distribution period and are voided if the user is deactivated.
-
Select Grant top-up to confirm.
Result: The top-up is applied to the user immediately, and any pending top-up request for that user clears. The user's In use value changes to Top-up once their monthly limit is spent and the top-up becomes the active source. On Unified Pricing, each top-up is a fixed pack of 50 Platform Units (PLTU); on Flex, each top-up is a fixed pack of 500 Agent Units (AGU). The pack is withdrawn from the organization's distribution.
What the user sees
After you grant a top-up, the user can check their own usage under Preferences > Licensing. The Usage page shows their monthly limit as a single percentage with a reset date, and an optional Usage by product breakdown. For the full description of this view, refer to AI and Agentic usage pool.
Exportar datos de uso
Both the License Administrator and the License Viewer roles can export the current cycle's usage for all users.
- Select Export CSV on the User usage dashboard.
Result: The current cycle's usage for all users downloads as a CSV file.
Managing the unit distribution
The distribution meter at the top of the dashboard shows the interval, the units granted, and the units remaining. Both top-ups and paid-unit fallback draw from this same supply.
When the distribution runs low, the meter shows a warning, and granting continues until the supply is exhausted. When the distribution reaches zero, the Grant top-up action is disabled everywhere, and users past their limit pause until more units are added or the monthly limit resets. To restore granting, purchase more units.
Finding users who need a top-up
This feature does not send notifications. Users who need a top-up appear at the top of the User usage dashboard when you open it, so you can find them without an alert. You can also use the Needs top-up filter to narrow the list.
