Set IAM Policy

Description

Sets the access control policy for the specified resource. It replaces any existing policy.

Configuration

Common
  • DisplayName - The display name of the activity.
IAM Policy
  • JsonPolicy - The complete policy to be applied to the resource, provided as a JSON string. This field supports only String variables.
  • Policy - The complete policy to be applied to the resource.

    Note: Only one of the IAM Policy parameters can have a value. You can either set the JsonPolicy or the Policy parameter, but not both simultaneously.
Input
  • FullResourceName - The full resource name of the resource for which the policy is being specified, like "//cloudresourcemanager.googleapis.com/projects/project-id" or "//compute.googleapis.com/projects/project-id/zones/zone-name/instances/instance-id". This field supports only String variables.
  • ResourceType - The resource type for which the policy is being requested, like "Instance".
Misc
  • Private - If selected, the values of variables and arguments are no longer logged at Verbose level.
