Get Group by Name

Description

Gets detailed information about the first group having the specified displayed name.

Configuration

Common
  • DisplayName - The display name of the activity.
Input
  • Name - The display name of the group. This field supports only strings and String variables.
Misc
  • Private - If selected, the values of variables and arguments are no longer logged at Verbose level.
Output
  • Group - Provides the details about the group.

Note: There can be more groups with the same display name. Such groups can be created only by using the Azure API (Microsoft Azure Portal does not allow this).

Permissions

This activity requires one of the following permissions to be set:

  • Delegated - Group.Read.All, Directory.Read.All, Directory.AccessAsUser.All
  • Application - Group.Read.All, Directory.Read.All
