Delivery options

The UiPath® platform is designed with adaptability and flexibility in mind, to cater to your needs. Various delivery options empower you to select the model that perfectly fits your operational necessities.

You can opt for on-premises installation, with the liberty to use your own infrastructure or cloud-based infrastructure. Alternatively, you can choose the UiPath Automation Cloud™, a Software as a Service (SaaS) offering, providing a hassle-free experience as it takes away the responsibility of infrastructure management. UiPath Automation Cloud™ is available in two flavors: commercial and public sector.

The diverse deployment options fall under two broad categories: on-premises and cloud (SaaS).

On premises options

Standalone products and Automation Suite (our on-premises automation platform) are on-premises solutions that are meant to be installed on either your enterprise computers and servers (self-hosted), or to be deployed in a public cloud.

For both of these options, you are responsible for maintaining and scaling the infrastructure and upgrading to newer versions.

• Standalone products are installed using an individual installer. For example, Orchestrator is installed using UiPathOrchestrator.msi and Studio using UiPathStudio.msi.

• Automation Suite and Test Cloud, being a platform-type solution, establishes one single delivery and maintenance mechanism for multiple UiPath products. With Automation Suite, you can manage your on-premises UiPath platform as one product.

  Each UiPath product that is part of Automation Suite and Test Cloud is available as a service within the context of the automation platform.

Cloud options

Our stride into the cloud space started with the UiPath Automation Cloud™, our SaaS solution. Automation Cloud™ minimizes your burden of infrastructure management and continuous updating. With UiPath handling these, you can focus solely on your automation journey. Automation Cloud™ comes in two versions: commercial and public sector.

• The commercial Automation Cloud™ and Test Cloud are tailored for businesses and large enterprises. It eradicates the necessity for infrastructure maintenance and significantly trims down operation costs.

• Automation Cloud™ Public Sector and Test Cloud Public Sector are designed for government organizations and public sector entities. It ensures meeting the necessary regulatory requirements and compliances of the public sector.

• Automation Cloud™ Dedicated designed for large enterprises with advanced security, compliance, and data residency needs. It provides dedicated infrastructure, greater control over upgrades, customizable connectivity, and region-specific deployments, while delivering the same cloud-managed experience and platform capabilities as other versions of Automation Cloud.
