Overview
Purposes
We process the data used with our services for the following purposes:
- Provide our services;
- Product improvement and model training.
Provide our services
We process user inputs such as prompts, on-screen images, UI metadata, and contextual information provided at design time and runtime to deliver ScreenPlay features, such as interpreting natural language instructions and executing corresponding UI actions. For more information, refer to About ScreenPlay.
We process telemetry data, such as feature usage metrics and event logs, to ensure that ScreenPlay and the underlying UIAutomation framework operate smoothly. This telemetry helps us optimize performance, improve reliability, and understand user adoption behavior.
We process account identifiers, such as tenant ID, organization ID, and licensed user ID, to provide authenticated access to ScreenPlay through UiPath Studio or Automation Cloud, and to secure your account and services.
We may process data that you send to us for support or as necessary for troubleshooting issues, in accordance with our support terms.
Data storage
Data is stored when using this product as selected by you and in accordance with our data residency page, available under Automation Cloud Data residency.
Integration with generative AI services
ScreenPlay integrates with UiPath's AI Trust Layer, which governs and audits all generative AI interactions.
When enabled, ScreenPlay may leverage UiPath proprietary or partner LLMs for intent understanding or UI reasoning, meaning that customers can choose to bring their own model.
All requests are processed through UiPath's AI governance and logging mechanisms, ensuring auditablity and compliance with customer policies.
Safeguards
To achieve the purposes for which we process data, UiPath employs the following safeguards:
- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Regional control: All data remain within the customer's hosting region.
- Access controls: UiPath enforces strict internal access and audit policies.
