Use of customer data with Industry and Department Solutions

UiPath Industry and Department Solutions are purpose-built offerings designed to address the specific operational and compliance requirements of organizations across various industries and business functions. Depending on the solution you use, UiPath processes different types of data as described below.

Financial Services Solutions

Tara

1. Purposes. We process the data used with our services for the following purposes:

   1. Provide Our Services We process payment sanctions screening alerts that include payment messages from electronic banking transactions, plus data from the sanctions watchlist that resulted in a "hit", or match of data in the payment messages compared to data on the watchlist, as further described here.
   2. Analytics We process data analytics to measure and evaluate the performance of our services. We may process data that you send to us for support or as necessary for troubleshooting issues, in accordance with our Support terms.

2. Data storage Data is stored when using this product as selected by you and in accordance with our data residency page.

3. Safeguards. We employ the following safeguards in achieving the purposes described above :

   1. All data stored by Tara is encrypted at rest. All data transmitted from the client to Tara, and from Tara to the client is encrypted in transit.
   2. The models used by Tara are trained by synthetic data. No customer data is used to train Tara's models.
   3. Tara stores transactional data for audit and explainability purposes. By default data is stored for 90 days, but the retention period is configurable and can be adjusted according to customer requirements.

Evelyn

1. Purposes. We process the data used with our services for the following purposes:

   1. Provide Our Services We process name sanctions screening alerts that include information about entities (people or businesses) that do business with the Bank customer, plus data from the sanctions watchlist that resulted in a "hit", or match of data in the payment messages compared to data on the watchlist, as further described here.
   2. Analytics We process data analytics to measure and evaluate the performance of our services. We may process data that you send to us for support or as necessary for troubleshooting issues, in accordance with our Support terms.

   1. Provide Our Services We process entity search requests that include information about entities (people or businesses) that our Bank customer does business with. Evan searches for news articles referring to the entities in question, and evaluates those articles for adversity as described here.
   2. Analytics We process data analytics to measure and evaluate the performance of our services. We may process data that you send to us for support or as necessary for troubleshooting issues, in accordance with our Support terms.
