Use of customer data with Integration Service

Purposes

We process the information used with our services for the following purposes:

  • Provide our services

Provide our services

We use usernames, passwords, email IDs, and keys provided during configuration, design and runtime for authenticating APIs that are called within our connectors. More information regarding the Integration Service functionalities is available on the Introduction page of the Integration Service user guide.

We process telemetry data such as usage data to make sure that our platforms operate smoothly and to optimize the user experience based on the feedback and usage patterns we observe. We use data analytics to measure and evaluate the performance of our services.

We may process data that you send to us for support or as necessary for troubleshooting issues, in accordance with our Support terms.

Data storage

Integration Service might cache template data such as Slack channels, ServiceNow table names etc., for UX experiences such as auto-suggest. In addition to this, we store data on all events/triggers for 24 hours.

Data is stored when using this product as selected by you and in accordance with our Data Residency page, available in the Automation Cloud admin guide.

Integration with generative AI services

Integration Service provides connectors/activities for generative AI services in Studio. We do not store or process data from these services within Integration Service. The connectors/activities facilitate integration with these systems and only configuration data needed to access these services (such as OAuth credentials, etc.) are stored.
