Integration Service User Guide
Salesforce Marketing Cloud authentication
Depending on the authentication type you select, you need one of the following credentials:
- OAuth 2.0 Authorization code: Tenant, and the email address and password associated with your Salesforce account.
- Bring your own OAuth 2.0 app: Tenant, Client ID, and Client secret.
To learn how to create your own OAuth 2.0 application, see the Salesforce documentation.
You can retrieve your Tenant name from your Salesforce Marketing Cloud account.
- Log in to your account.
- Go to the Setup screen ( you can hover over your account name in the upper-right corner and select Setup from the drop-down menu).
- On the left-side menu, select Company Settings, then click Account Settings.
-
You should be able to see your tenant name next to SOAP WSDL in the form of:
https://example.soap.marketingcloudapis.com/ETFramework.wsdl
.Note: On your account, instead of example, the above address will include your tenant name. Copy it and use it to establish the connection using the UiPath Integration Service.
To create a connection to your Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance, you need to perform the following steps:
-
Select Integration Service from Automation CloudTM Public Sector.
-
From the Connectors list, select Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You can also use the search bar to narrow down the connector.
- Select the Connect to
Salesforce Marketing Cloud button.
Select an authentication type: OAuth 2.0 Authorization code (default option) or Bring your own OAuth 2.0 app.
-
Enter the required credentials for your preferred authentication method and select Connect.
-
Your connection has been added.
