To create a connection, you need the following credentials:
- Host
- Client ID (corresponds to your API key)
- Client secret
- Scope - this field is prepopulated with
the required scopes:
Egnyte.filesystem Egnyte.projectfolders Egnyte.user
.
How to get OAuth 2.0 credentials
- Register for a developer account at https://developers.egnyte.com/member/register.
- Create an OAuth 2.0 application. Set the redirect URL as https://govcloud.uipath.us/provisioning_/callback and select Submit.
- Wait for your application to be approved by Egnyte.
- Once your application is active, you can use the API key and secret as the Client ID and Client secret credentials during the authentication process.
Be aware of the following rules when registering for an API key:
- The API key must be associated with the domain name you wish to connect to.
- You must describe the purpose of the application. For more information, see the Getting started guide.
-
Select Integration Service from Automation CloudTM Public Sector.
- From the Connectors list, select Egnyte. You can also use the search bar to find the connector.
- Select the Connect to Egnyte button.
- Enter the required credentials.
-
Select Connect.
- Next, you are redirected to the Egnyte login page. Enter your Egnyte username and password.
- The UiPath Egnyte application requires you to allow access for: viewing and managing users, reading and writing all files and folders, creating and managing project folders.
- Select Allow Access to create your connection.
