Egnyte authentication

Prerequisites

To create a connection, you need the following credentials:

  • Host
  • Client ID (corresponds to your API key)
  • Client secret
  • Scope - this field is prepopulated with the required scopes: Egnyte.filesystem Egnyte.projectfolders Egnyte.user.
How to get OAuth 2.0 credentials
  1. Register for a developer account at https://developers.egnyte.com/member/register.
  2. Create an OAuth 2.0 application. Set the redirect URL as https://govcloud.uipath.us/provisioning_/callback and select Submit.
  3. Wait for your application to be approved by Egnyte.
  4. Once your application is active, you can use the API key and secret as the Client ID and Client secret credentials during the authentication process.

Be aware of the following rules when registering for an API key:

  • The API key must be associated with the domain name you wish to connect to.
  • You must describe the purpose of the application. For more information, see the Getting started guide.
