Configure Robot

Description

Connects the Robot from a given virtual machine to Orchestrator.

Configuration

Common
  • DisplayName - The display name of the activity.
Input
  • MachineKey - Specifies the machine key obtained from the Orchestrator. You can obtain the machine key from the Machines page in Orchestrator. The key is requested only in combination with the OrchestratorURL. This field supports only strings and String variables.
  • OrchestratorConnectionString - Specifies the Connection String obtained from Orchestrator. You can obtain the Connection String from the General tab from the Settings page in Orchestrator. This field supports only strings and String variables.
  • OrchestratorURL - Specifies the URL for Orchestrator. This field supports only strings and String variables.
    Note:

    At least one of the OrchestratorURL or OrchestratorConnectionString parameters must be set. If both parameters are set then the OrchestratorConnectionString is taken into consideration.

  • Password - The password for the provided Username. This field supports only secure strings and SecureString variables.
  • Username - The Guest OS username under which the robot is to be configured. This field supports only strings and String variables.
  • VirtualMachine - Specifies the virtual machine.
Misc
  • Private - If selected, the values of variables and arguments are no longer logged at Verbose level.

    Note:

    Make sure that the following prerequisites are met: The Virtual Machine is running. UiPath Robot is installed on the Virtual Machine and the robot service is running. The UiPath Robot is provisioned in Orchestrator.
