Description: This example explains how to delete SharePoint List items that are filtered based on date, e.g., newer than yesterday. This example uses the Microsoft 365 Delete List Items activity.

Workflow

1. Open Studio Web and create a new project.
2. For How to start the automation select Manually, then click Create.
3. Add a SharePoint Delete List Items activity to your workflow and configure it:
   1. Set up your Microsoft OneDrive & SharePoint connection.
   2. For the SharePoint list field, select the list you wish to include in your automation. For example, Customer Contacts.
      
      

      

      
      
   3. Use the Filter to select some filtering criteria. For example, if you wish to delete SharPoint List items newer than yesterday, use the following configuration:
      
      

      

      
      
      Note: You can set a date filter using one of the preconfigured options (Today, Yesterday, 3 Months Ago, Start of Next Week, etc.) or select a custom date using the calendar widget.
4. If you want to log how many items are deleted using this automation, add a Log Message activity to your workflow.
   1. In the Message field, add the Number of items deleted text, followed by the output variable of the Delete List Items activity, drilled down to its Rows > Count property.
