Salesforce events

The Salesforce connector supports the following predefined events:

Event	Object	Event Type	Description
Lead created	Lead	CREATED	Triggers when a new lead is created in Salesforce.
Contact created	Contact	CREATED	Triggers when a new contact is created in Salesforce.
Account created	Account	CREATED	Triggers when a new account is created in Salesforce.
Opportunity created	Opportunities	CREATED	Triggers when a new opportunity is created in Salesforce.
Opportunity closed and won	Opportunities	UPDATED	Triggers when an existing opportunity is closed and won in Salesforce.

The Salesforce connector also supports the following events via polling, on all objects, including your custom objects:

• Record Created
• Record Updated

All events are automatically accessible under the Wait for an Event and Resume activity for your long-running workflows. For details, refer to Long-running workflows with Integration Service activities.

Event polling is performed every 5 minutes, by default. The polling interval is configurable. For details, refer to the Triggers documentation.
