PREVIEWConnections in Apps
Connections allow UiPath® Apps to integrate with external third-party services using Integration Service. This is similar to adding other integrations, such as entities from Data Service or queues from Orchestrator. Connections are made available on a per-tenant basis. Before adding a connection, make sure your tenant has the respective integration available as a connector. To use Connections in Apps, you need editing permissions for the respective app (granted by the Admin, Owner, Author, or Co-author roles) and access to Integration Service.
Connection consumption is tracked as part of your Integration Service license. You can track the consumption of your connections by accessing the Admin section of Automation Cloud and going to the Licenses > Consumables page. Separate consumption statistics for connections used in apps is unavailable. You should refer to overall Integration Service consumption instead.
The following best practices apply to Connections in Apps:
-
Creating a connection from Apps is possible within a personal workspace. It is not allowed within folders. If you wish to create a shared connection, you can create one from Integration Service.
-
Apps supports the following connectors.
-
Connections are not currently supported in Public Apps.
