Out-of-the-box models

We provide a range of pre-trained out-of-the-box models that can process common document types. These models are available as public endpoints, such as https://du.uipath.com/ie/invoices, which can be consumed by activities right away without any model training. Custom trained extractors are trained in Document Understanding^TM in Automation Cloud^TM by using the One Click Extraction feature.

These models can be integrated into automations in the following ways:

• In classic RPA workflows in Studio Desktop using the IntelligentOCR.Activities, the OCR.Activities, and the DocumentUnderstanding.ML.Activities packages.
• In cross-platform, RPA workflows in Studio Desktop or Studio Web using the DocumentUnderstanding.Activities package.
• By calling the Document Understanding REST APIs.
