Productivity Activities

Last updated Dec 18, 2024

Classic activities

Note: We are no longer delivering new features or improvements for the Microsoft 365 Classic activities. These activities are now in the maintenance phase, in which we only deliver bug fixes. To benefit from the latest enhancements, we recommend using the equivalent Integration Service connections-based activities. If the corresponding activities have missing functionalities or are unsuitable for your use case, please contact the UiPath support team.

Scope

The Microsoft 365 Scope activity establishes an authenticated connection between UiPath and your Microsoft 365 application and provides a scope for all subsequent Microsoft 365 activities.

Each Microsoft 365 activity calls a Microsoft Graph API using the request parameters you enter in the activity's input properties. If the call is successful, the activity outputs the relevant response elements (i.e., output properties) that you can use as input property values in subsequent activities, queue items in an existing Queue, etc.

For a complete list of the Microsoft Graph APIs used by each classic activity and links to the relevant API documentation, see the Technical references page.

Note: There is a 4MB request limit on Graph API requests.

The Microsoft 365 Files activities provide methods to search for files, move and copy files hosted on OneDrive and SharePoint.
