Description

Moves a file hosted on Google Drive under a new parent.

Configuration

In the Body of the Activity
  • File to move - The file that you want to move. This property supports String variables and string formatted values. When entering your value, use the exact File ID, or the output property variable from a previous Find Files And Folders or Copy File activity.
  • Destination folder - The new parent folder where the file is to be moved. The ID may be entered manually or browsed for.

Common

  • ContinueOnError - If set, the remaining activities are executed if the current activity fails. This field supports Boolean values.
  • DisplayName - The display name of the activity. This property supports String variables and string formatted values.

Input

  • FileID - The ID of the file to be moved. Retrieve the ID either from the web interface of Google Drive or by using a Find Files and Folders activity.
  • NewFileName - The new name of the file that you want to move. If you want to keep the existing file name, leave this field empty. This property supports String variables and string formatted values.
  • NewParentID - The ID of the new parent folder, or root for the My Drive folder. If this is not specified, the location(s) will be preserved. Retrieve the ID either from the web interface of Google Drive or by using a Find Files and Folders activity.

Misc

  • Private - If selected, the values of variables and arguments are no longer logged at Verbose level. This field supports Boolean values.
