Checking the status of your connections
The Connections page in Studio Web displays a list of all connections available to you in the Integration Service. The following information is displayed for each one:
- Connection information - An icon representing the connector, the connection name, and whether the connection is the default for a connector. To view the name of the connector, hover the mouse over the connector icon.
- State. The status Connected is displayed if the connection is valid. The status Disconnected is displayed if there are issues with the connection. Click Fix connection on the right side of a disconnected connection to fix it. Please note that no status is available for browser connections.
- The icon is displayed if a connection is from a shared folder.
- Date and time when the connection was created.
To view more details about a connection, select More actions > View details on the right of the connection.
The following information is available for each connection: connector name and description, connection name, status, created and last modified times, and number of projects where the connection is used.
To check that a connection that appears as active is valid, select More actions > Check connection on the right of the connection. If the connection has expired, you are prompted to fix the connection.
A connection may become invalid for various reasons, for example, if you haven't used it in a long time, if the credentials have changed, or if it needs additional configuration.
If there are any expired connections, a red icon indicating the number of connections that require fixing is displayed on the Connections tab in Studio Web. When you open the Connections page, a Fix connection button is displayed on the right side of the expired connections. Click the button to re-initiate the connection flow and, depending on the application you are connecting to, the sync is refreshed, you are prompted to re-authenticate, or to configure the connection from scratch.
To delete a connection you no longer need, select More actions > Delete on the right of the connection, and then select Delete again in in the confirmation dialog.
Be careful when you remove connections, deleting a connection can break projects where it is used. When you select this option, a confirmation dialog appears and displays the number of projects where the connection is used.
