Installation Access Token

Identity Server allows you to register other UiPath on-premise products, called clients, for Single Sign-On with Orchestrator. This is done through an installation access token which can be found in the Identity Management Portal's Installation Access Token page.

Registering Clients

  1. In Identity Server's Installation Access Token page, click Generate Token to generate a new value for the installation access token.
  2. Click Copydocs image next to the token to copy its value to your clipboard. You need it in the process of registering other on-premises UiPath products for Single Sign-On with Orchestrator.


  3. Follow the instructions provided within the installers of the on-premises UiPath products or services that you wish to register with Identity Server.
    Important: The token is valid for 1 hour, after which it expires. Generate another if the client registration process was not finalized.
