What Autopilot is, which capability sets it offers, and where each set is available across UiPath products.
Autopilot is UiPath's native coding agent, built on the UiPath for Coding Agents infrastructure. Rather than a fixed pipeline, Autopilot runs on skills, tools, and commands. UiPath's official skills are included out of the box. You can also author your own skills and reference UiPath's skills inside them — use the built-in skills, your own, or a combination of both.
Autopilot comes as an entitlement of user licenses, with usage included. It is a platform-wide AI layer, always on and always in context.
Autopilot uses the infrastructure provided by UiPath for Coding Agents. Each product where Autopilot is available exposes a specific set of connected sources (tools) that determine what Autopilot can access and do.
Capability sets
Autopilot ships into UiPath products in stages. Each product may offer a different capability set depending on the features it supports.
What you get |
|---|---|
| Autopilot | Built on UiPath for Coding Agents infrastructure. Plans and executes end-to-end — UiPath's first-party coding agent. |
| Autopilot agent | Performs work on request, one step at a time, with you driving each step. Refer to Autopilot agent. |
| Autopilot での検索 | One-shot retrieval: you ask, Autopilot looks it up. Refer to Autopilot search. |
| Autopilot アクション | Fixed, pre-defined actions you trigger in the UI (for example, Fix expression, Generate expression). Not subject to usage pool consumption. Refer to Autopilot actions. |
| Autopilot for Everyone | Conversational experience in Assistant for business users — run automations, query data, analyze files. Refer to Autopilot for Everyone. |

Autopilot plans and executes end to end — build, deploy, and troubleshoot from wherever you are already working, without switching surfaces. It operates across three broad modes:
- Build — Translate natural language into workflows, agents, schemas, and automations.
- Operate — Monitor job health, manage queues and schedules, and surface issues before they escalate.
- Troubleshoot — Diagnose failures, suggest selector healing, and accelerate debugging and recovery.
Prompts are the instructions you use to communicate with Autopilot. A well-structured prompt significantly improves the quality of results. Keep these tips in mind:
- 指示が明確で、曖昧ではないことを確認する
- アクションにつながる指示を作成する
- 期待していることを明確に記述する
- Use active voice to enhance clarity.
- Incorporate relevant keywords to steer Autopilot's response in a specific direction.
- Be mindful of Autopilot's limitations.
