Virtual channels blocked by default

Comportamento Observado

After upgrading to a Citrix version higher than Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 2109, existing Citrix automations that rely on UiPath Remote Runtime fail: selector generation stops working and UI Automation activities can no longer detect Citrix elements.

Causa

Starting with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 2109, all custom virtual channels are blocked by default, which prevents UiPath Remote Runtime from communicating with the Citrix session.

Solução

Add the UiPath virtual channel to the Citrix allow list policy:

1. Configure the allow list policy by following the Citrix virtual channel allow-list policy settings documentation.

2. Add the following value to the allow list policy, replacing <UiPathRemoteRuntime-Install_Path> with your install location:

   UIPCTX,<UiPathRemoteRuntime-Install_Path>\UiPathRemoteRuntime.exe

   Por exemplo:

   UIPCTX,C:\Program Files (x86)\UiPath\RemoteRuntime\UiPathRemoteRuntime.exe

Seleção Interativa em Aplicativos Citrix Congela e Nada é Selecionado

Comportamento Observado

After you install the UiPath Extension for Citrix and try to select UI elements from a Citrix App, interactive selection freezes for one minute, and then nothing is selected.

Causa

This happens if the UiPath Remote Runtime is not running in the Citrix App session.

Solução

• Marcar se o UiPathRemoteRuntime.msi está instalado no servidor de aplicativos Citrix a partir do qual o Citrix App é aberto.

• No servidor do aplicativo Citrix, verifique se o processo da UiPathRemoteRuntime.exe está em execução. Se a UiPathRemoteRuntime.msi estiver instalada, o processo será iniciado automaticamente no logon de sessão do Aplicativo Citrix.

  

  Observação:

  If you cannot install UiPathRemoteRuntime.msi on the Citrix application servers, consider uninstalling the UiPath Extension for Citrix from the client machine. For instructions, see Extension for Citrix.

Não foi possível copiar o arquivo “C:\Arquivos de Programa (x86)\Citrix\ICA Client\UIPathPluginCitrix.dll". Ele está sendo usado por outro processo.

Comportamento Observado

This occurs when the UiPath Extension for Citrix is already installed and an open Citrix App is using it.

Solução

Close all active Citrix App sessions, as described in Restarting active Citrix sessions, then reinstall the UiPath Extension for Citrix.

Comportamento Observado

When you try to install the UiPath Extension for Citrix, the following error is displayed:

Causa

Esta mensagem de erro é exibida quando o Receptor Citrix não estiver instalado. Ela também é exibida se o Receptor Citrix para a Plataforma Universal do Windows estiver instalado.

Solução

Faça o download e instale o Citrix Receiver ou Citrix Workspace.

Comportamento Observado

Aplicativo Citrix de destino não pode ser iniciado e o cliente Citrix ICA falha.

Causa

Atividades que usam a função GetWindowText (como Element Exists) são executadas antes que o Aplicativo Citrix possa ser carregado.

Solução

Reserve um tempo para que o Aplicativo Citrix seja carregado adicionando um atraso antes da atividade.

A seleção interativa e a identificação de elementos não funcionam com DPI

Comportamento Observado

A partir do Citrix Workspace App (CWA) para Windows 2206, se nenhuma configuração de políticas de High DPI for aplicada, a seleção interativa e a identificação de elementos podem não funcionar para o Citrix Apps quando a escala de DPI da tela for superior a 100%.

Causa

Isso é causado pela seguinte alteração no Citrix: DPI suporta alterações com o Citrix Workspace App para Windows 2206.

Solução

Excluir o valor do registro Enable_DPI de Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA Client\DPI:
