Bar charts

Introduction

Bar charts can be used to group data and to compare certain metrics. The bars are displayed horizontally. The following illustration shows an example of a bar chart.



Properties

You can edit the properties of a bar chart in the Edit bar chart panel.

Below is a description of the properties of the Bar chart.

Element

Description

Title

Text box that enables you to edit the title of the bar chart.

Tooltip

Text box that enables you add a text that will be displayed as tooltip when the user hovers the mouse over the chart title in the published process app.

Fields

List of fields to be available for the bar chart.

  • Use the Add field option to select one or more fields.

  • Enable the fields that are displayed on the bar chart by default.

  • Drag and drop the fields in the list to arrange the fields as desired.

Note:

You must at least select and enable one field for the bar chart. If you select multiple fields, the first field will be displayed by default.

Metrics

List of metrics to be available for the bar chart.

  • Use the Add metric option to select multiple metrics.

  • Enable the metrics that are displayed on the bar chart by default.

  • Drag and drop the metrics in the list to arrange the metrics as desired.

Note:

You must at least select and enable one metric for the bar chart. If you select multiple metrics, the first metric will be displayed by default.
