Filters | Filter panel that enables to you to filter data from the tables before it is provided to the dashboard. |
Dashboard filters enable you to filter data from the tables before it is provided to the dashboard. With dashboard filters, you can create a subset of the data to create more specific visualizations that can be used by business users. When business users open a dashboard that contains dashboard filters, the dashboard will display data according to the filters.
When one or more filters are defined for a dashboard, the Dashboard filters icon is displayed next to the dashboard name. Business users can select the icon, to view the applied dashboard filters.
Business users can still add global filters, which are applied on top of the dashboard level filters. But they cannot change the dashboard level filters.
