Extension for Firefox

Note:

You need to use at least Firefox version 52.0 to perform browser automations. Firefox versions 65.0 and lower require an extra add-on.

Install from UiPath Studio

  1. Access the Tools tab from the Studio Backstage view. The extensions you can install become visible.
  2. Click the Firefox button. Mozilla Firefox opens up and a confirmation pop-up is displayed.
  3. Click the Add button, and then OK to confirm. The UiPath Extension for Firefox is now installed.

Install from the Studio Installer

  1. Run the UiPathStudio.msi installer and navigate to the Installation Details section.
  1. Switch to the Advanced tab and select UiPath extension for Firefox.
  2. Click Install. Studio setup continues while also installing the extension for Firefox.

Install from the Command Prompt

  1. Click the Windows Start button and type cmd in the search field.
  2. Right click on Command Prompt and run it as administrator.
  3. Change the directory to the UiPath installation folder (cd C:\Program Files\UiPath\Studio\UiPath).
  4. Use the SetupExtensions /Firefox command to install the extension. Firefox opens up and a confirmation pop-up is displayed.
  1. Click the Add button, and then OK to confirm. The UiPath Extension for Firefox is now installed.
