Attaching a trace to an Automation Hub idea

Automation Hub is used to turn ideas for automations that are discovered from Task Mining into real automated implementations. You can attach a Task Mining trace to an Automation Hub idea directly from the trace diagram window to an Automation Hub idea. This allows you to easily access and monitor submitted automation ideas in Automation Hub.

Follow these steps to attach a trace to an Automation Hub idea.

1. In the trace diagram window, locate the Appears in section.

2. Select Attach next to Automation Hub. The Attach trace dialog is displayed.

   Nota:

   The Automation Hub option is selected by default.

3. Select the Automation Hub idea to which you want to attach the task to, from the Automation idea drop-down list, and select Save.

The name of the automation is displayed in the Appears in section.

Viewing the automation in Automation Hub

Select the name of the automation in the Appear in section to view the attached automation in Automation Hub.

Automation Hub is launched in a new browser tab, displaying the About section in the automation profile.

Attaching a different automation

Follow these steps to select a different activity to attach to the trace:

1. Select the edit icon in the Appears in section. The Attach trace dialog is displayed with the attached activity.

2. Select the Automation Hub option to display the attached automation.

3. Select the applicable Automation idea from the drop-down list and select Save.

The name of the automation idea to which the trace is connected is updated in the Appears in section.

Removing an attached automation

Follow these steps to remove the trace attached to an Automation Hub automation:

1. Select the edit icon in the Appears in section. The Attach trace dialog is displayed with the attached activity.

2. Select the Automation Hub option to display the attached automation.

3. Select Remove attachment. A confirmation message is displayed.

4. Selecciona Confirmar para continuar.

The Attach trace dialog is closed and the attachment is removed.
