Group Policy conflict

Descripción

Cuando se instala la extensión de UiPath para Edge con la política de grupo, ExtensionInstallForcelist se actualiza a nivel de máquina.

Esto puede causar un conflicto si la ExtensionInstallForcelist también se define también a nivel usuario.

Because the machine level has priority, the extensions set at the user/cloud level are uninstalled.

Para confirmar esto, comprueba en edge://policysi esta advertencia aparece debajo de ExtensionInstallForcelist:

More than one source with conflicting values is present for this policy!

Solución

To solve this conflict, follow these steps:

1. Install the UiPath extension for Edge using the NativeHostOnly installation method.

   This installation method enables communication between the extension and Studio/Robot.

   No realiza cambios a las Políticas de Grupo.

   Para usar este método de instalación añade EDGE_INSTALL_TYPE=NativeHostOnlyal comando de instalación para UiPathStudio.msi. Ejemplo: UiPathStudio.msi ADDLOCAL=DesktopFeature,Studio,Robot,RegisterService,EdgeExtension EDGE_INSTALL_TYPE=NativeHostOnly.
2. En la política ExtensionInstallForcelist, añade el valor:
   1. For the Group Policy Online installation method (that installs the extension from Microsoft Edge Add-ons Store): dknkgjgkdpkmddgdjlgdhfojlaehikmk;https://edge.microsoft.com/extensionwebstorebase/v1/crx
   2. For the Group Policy Offline installation method (that installs the self-hosted extension): ndmegdjihnhfmljjoaiimbipfhodnbgf;file:///C:/ProgramData/UiPath/UiPath.Common/EdgeExtension_SelfHosted/extension_manifest_edge.xml
3. In the NativeMessagingAllowlist policy, add the value: com.uipath.chromenativemsg_v2.
4. Establece la política de grupo DeveloperToolsAvailability en el valor 1 (Permitir el uso de las herramientas de desarrollo).
