Personal Access Tokens

A Personal Access Token (PAT) is a unique alphanumeric string that serves as a substitute for your credentials and grants you controlled access to specific UiPath® resources while maintaining a high level of security.

PATs are currently limited to users with local accounts only.

Managing PATs

You have to be an Org Admin to perform this operation.

To manage PAT settings and user-generated tokens for your organization, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Admin and select the organization at the top of the panel on the left.
  2. Select External applications.
  3. Click the Personal Access Token tab. The Personal Access Token page shows a list of personal tokens generated for your user (if any) with details (PAT owner, PAT name, date of last in use, access scopes, expiration date).

To revoke one or muliple user PATs, check the box(es) of the PAT(s) you want to disable and click the Revoke button.

In case of a PAT leak, you need to file a ticket to UiPath support who will revoke the leaked PAT.

To enable/disable PATs for all users, click Settings and toggle between Enable/Disable PAT for all users and set the Maximum Lifespan for it.

    Click Save.
