Automation Suite and Private Test Cloud 2.2510.0

Release date: November 11, 2025

Release highlights

Automation Suite and Private Test Cloud platform

Introducing Private Test Cloud platform

Test Cloud is now available on the same infrastructure as Automation Suite. Test Cloud is available on-premises across all Automation Suite deployments – EKS/AKS, OpenShift, and Linux – giving organizations the flexibility to design, execute, and manage testing at scale while maintaining full control over their data, infrastructure, and compliance.

New versioning format

Starting with this release, Automation Suite and Private Test Cloud use a new versioning format. The format follows the pattern [Major].[YYMM].[Patch], defined as follows:

  • Major increases when a major release is delivered.
  • YYMM represents the year and month of the long-term support (LTS) release.
  • Patch increments with each cumulative update (CU) after the initial LTS release.

The version format of this LTS release is 2.2510.0. This release is the baseline for future Cumulative Updates (CUs).

All products delivered through Automation Suite follow this version format, while standalone products continue to use the [YYYY].[MM].[Patch] format, such as 2025.10.0.

New products in Automation Suite

The Automation Suite product portfolio expands with newly onboarded products and services — bringing self-managed parity closer to Automation Cloud.

Platform Units join Automation Suite

Unified Pricing introduces Platform Units that consolidate AI, App, Robot, API Call, and Agent consumption into a single metric. It simplifies license tracking and allows reallocation across Automation Cloud, Automation Suite, and desktop products. If preferred, you can continue using Flex licensing.

Centralized access management, governance, and administration

A redesigned admin experience introduces Unified User and Group Profiles, a Tenant Administrator role, and custom roles across organization, tenant, and service levels. Administrators can now export role assignments, perform folder-level access reviews, and manage permissions consistently across all environments.

Additionally, a centralized access management and a consistent Manage Access interface enhance usability, while the redesigned left navigation rail allows you to pin favorite services for quicker access and a more personalized workspace.

Improved licensing and security

All deployments benefit from improved license tracking and group-based license quotas, alongside stronger identity management through SAML and OAuth APIs, user consent prompts, and organization-level access restrictions.

Modern infrastructure compatibility

Automation Suite now supports IPv6 and dual-stack networking, ensuring readiness for modern IT environments and enabling flexible, scalable deployment configurations across all platforms.

Automation Suite on EKS/AKS-specific highlights

The EKS/AKS release enhances cloud-native resilience with full support for Active/Passive Disaster Recovery, enabling business continuity across same- or cross-region setups. It now leverages cloud provider–managed backup and restore through AWS and Azure services, aligning with native cloud recovery tools.

Additionally, Secretstore integration allows secure credential management using Azure Key Vault or Kubernetes Secrets, improving deployment security.

Automation Suite OpenShift-specific highlights

The OpenShift release focuses on scalability and operational flexibility, allowing multiple Automation Suite instances to run within a single OpenShift cluster. Administrators can now monitor and manage these instances through ArgoCD, simplifying multi-environment operations such as staging and production.

This deployment also supports Active/Passive Disaster Recovery and Secretstore-based credential management for enhanced reliability and data protection.

Automation Suite on Linux-specific highlights

The Linux release introduces single-node production support, enabling smaller-scale or resource-limited environments to run Automation Suite in production.

It adds Layer 7 (L7) load balancer compatibility for improved traffic management and security, as well as external object storage and local disk backup options for greater flexibility in backup and restore.

In addition, Process Mining now uses PostgreSQL for the Airflow database, ensuring compatibility with the latest versions for better performance and reliability.

Action Center

The 2.2510.0 release of Action Center now features an enhanced search experience, allowing users to search actions by Task ID or keywords, and refine results through the Sort & Filter panel for faster, more precise results.

Apps

The 2.2510.0 release of Apps introduces Web app projects in Studio Web, a new integration between Apps and Studio Web that lets you build and run web apps with inline automation in a single environment. This simplifies development, reduces context switching, and maintains a familiar experience for existing Apps users.

Automation Ops

The 2.2510.0 release of Automation Ops introduces the AI Trust Layer governance policy. This policy provides enhanced control over the use of AI-powered capabilities across UiPath products, including Autopilot for Everyone, coded agents, Test Manager, and GenAI activities.

Document Understanding

The 2.2510.0 release of Document Understanding introduces new roles and permissions for better security and control, including the Data Annotator and Project Administrator roles, plus support for custom roles and the Documents.Delete permission.

It maintains API key support, even though it’s been removed from other Automation Cloud™ services. API keys remain as secure as Personal Access Tokens (PATs) and can still be used to access model endpoints safely.

Additionally, this release introduces a Compare model feature for assessing model versions, enables retraining with validated documents from Validation Station, and makes classification fields generally available in the Document Type Manager.

Insights

The 2.2510.0 release of Insights includes an update to Looker version 25.12.

It also introduces a new Process Mining AI Units consumption dashboard in Insights. The dashboard provides clear visibility into AI unit usage across Process Mining apps, including top-consuming applications and historical usage trends.

Integration Service

The 2.2510.0 release of Integration Service introduces new connectors, including UiPath GenAI Activities, DeepSeek, Freshsales, Icertis, Jina, OpenAI V1 Compliant LLM, Perplexity, SAP BAPI, SAP OData, and Workday REST.

Other highlights include the new Activity Designer in Connector Builder for configuring custom activity layouts, and the Trigger Designer, which lets you create event-based triggers.

Integration Service connectors now support long-running workflows with "Wait for an Event and Resume" activities. Additional improvements include a session timeout countdown for connection setup and enforcement of the Personal Workspaces admin setting, ensuring users without personal workspaces are directed to shared folders.

Orchestrator

The 2.2510.0 release of Orchestrator introduces several impactful updates that expand flexibility, strengthen security, and streamline automation management.

Key highlights:

  • You can now deploy Solutions directly in Automation Suite.
  • Developers can now create coded agents using the UiPath SDK, enabling advanced, customizable automations written in code. These agents can be published to Orchestrator and scheduled like standard processes.
  • Orchestrator now supports creating indexes for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) scenarios, organizing business data embeddings to improve semantic search and AI accuracy across UiPath’s generative AI experiences.
  • Integration with Google Secret Manager and improved HashiCorp Vault support offer more secure and flexible ways to manage credentials.
  • Administrators can now define retention rules for both completed and uncompleted jobs or queue items, helping control database size and compliance.
  • Orchestrator now lets you run jobs from external systems via API triggers, providing a more flexible and modern way to integrate automations with third-party tools.
  • Features like agent job tracing, trigger history tracking, and strong delete confirmation improve monitoring, troubleshooting, and safety.

Process Mining

The 2.2510.0 release of Process Mining introduces new dashboards for the Purchase-to-Pay SAP app template, offering insights into efficiency and compliance metrics such as order velocity, supplier performance, and accounting processes. It also simplifies data structures and transformations, making setup and maintenance easier, and offers the option of multi-process Process Mining for analyzing related processes within one app.
