Release highlights

Robot-specific highlights

The 2025.10.1 release of UiPath Robot brings key updates to improve performance, security, and control. A new UIPATH_EXECUTOR_STARTUP_DELAY variable lets you delay executor startup in unattended sessions, and dual logging now allows separate log levels for local files and Orchestrator. Robots also support larger (10,000+ character) and file-type arguments.

Authentication and management improvements include UPN domain support for smart cards, automatic proxy settings migration, and smarter session handling with new options to keep or disconnect sessions after job completion. Logs now show job IDs, activity failure details, and have a 30-day retention limit.

Other updates: HTTPS is now required for all NuGet feeds, a new repository certificate fingerprint is available, Windows Server 2025 is supported, and the minimum.NET Framework has been raised to 4.7.2.

Studio-specific highlights

The 2025.10.1 release of Studio delivers a major UX refresh and several new capabilities for a cleaner, faster, and more intuitive automation experience. The redesign includes a new visual identity, improved panel docking, an enhanced design experience for sequences, and better navigation through collapsible logic blocks and breadcrumbs. The Data Manager also has a new tabular design for managing variables and arguments.

New features make Studio more powerful than ever:

  • Solutions created in Studio Web can now be opened, edited, and saved in Studio.
  • Long Running Workflows let you design BPMN-style automations that combine both automated and human steps.
  • StudioX capabilities are now integrated in Studio, with StudioX becoming Studio for Citizen Developers.
  • The new Data Mapping editor makes it easy to map complex data between systems.
  • Governance controls let you manage which project templates are available to your teams.
  • Studio now uses Unified Pricing, offering a consistent licensing model across UiPath products.
  • For developers, coded automations now generate XML documentation automatically.
  • And for testers, you can edit test data directly in a spreadsheet-style view during design time.
