Release highlights

The following sections outline some release highlights for UiPath products deployed under Automation Cloud in the March 5, 2026 - March 17, 2026 timeframe. For comprehensive release notes, refer to the individual platform or product release notes.

Automation Cloud Administration and Test Cloud Administration
  • Organization administrators can delegate identity management tasks using a new custom organization-level user management role. The role provides granular CRUD permissions for user accounts, robot accounts, and local groups without granting full admin rights.
  • The AI Trust Layer supports bring-your-own-LLM configuration for coded agents and Semantic selectors in UI Automation, allowing replacement of UiPath-managed subscriptions with custom models.
  • Automation Cloud expands data residency to the following regions:
    • The United Arab Emirates for ACR - VM, Agents, AI Trust Layer, Apps, Automation Hub, Automation Ops, Autopilot for Everyone, Context Grounding, GenAI Activities, Insights, Integration Service, Maestro, Solutions, Studio Web, and Test Manager.
    • Switzerland for Unstructured and Complex Documents and Communications Mining.
Agents
  • Unified runtime is the default execution engine for agents, providing a single Python-based runtime for both low-code and coded agents across design-time and production runs.
  • You can monitor and analyze guardrail usage across deployed agents, with a centralized view of invoked actions, enforcement activity, and key metrics via the Guardrails tab in Agent Instance Management.
  • You can define custom time-to-live settings for agent traces through the AI Trust Layer policy, giving you precise control over data retention, storage costs, and compliance.
Automation Cloud Robots
  • User-managed Robot version updates are supported for Automation Cloud Robots-VM and Elastic Robot Orchestration pools based on custom images.
Integration Service
  • Integration Service connections have moved to Orchestrator, centralizing connection creation, editing, and management alongside assets, queues, and triggers at folder level.
  • Three new connectors are generally available: Azure Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft Sentinel Threat Intelligence.
IXP
  • We have updated the Measure page in Unstructured and Complex Documents to provide clearer field-level insight into model performance. The updates are available in preview.
Maestro
  • Boundary events and subprocesses automatically generate error output variables, and the activity feed displays error messages for failed tasks directly.
  • Progressive loading for the process instances grid displays initial records immediately while loading remaining data in the background.
  • The variable picker includes outputs from collapsed subprocesses, enabling correct variable references regardless of view state.
Orchestrator
  • Integration Service connections are managed directly within Orchestrator, centralizing configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Job start flow is streamlined by automatically preselecting the first available process based on name ordering.
  • Video recordings can be deleted directly from the More Actions menu, improving accessibility of the option.
  • Per-user and per-robot asset value removal is improved with confirmation dialogs and support for bulk deletion.
  • Queue transaction items grid includes new Created (relative) and Created (absolute) columns for better tracking.
  • Role deletion requires typed confirmation via an improved modal to prevent accidental removal.
  • A new QueueItem.retried webhook event enables monitoring of retried queue items.
Test Manager
  • Autopilot Chat offers you a context-aware conversational assistant for natural-language search, asset generation, and action execution, with MCP Server integration for external tool connectivity. Autopilot Chat is in preview.
  • Accessibility Testing enables you to automate and integrate accessibility compliance testing within the development pipeline.
  • Custom structured views enable you to organize test assets via grouping capabilities.

Release highlights

The following sections outline some release highlights for UiPath products deployed under Automation Cloud in the February 28, 2026 – March 4, 2026 timeframe. For comprehensive release notes, refer to the individual platform or product release notes.

Automation Cloud Administration and Test Cloud Administration
  • Admins and users can view the free consumable entitlements that come with their licenses.
  • We've updated the names of the following consumables: ScreenPlay LAM Calls are now ScreenPlay Runs, and UIA Runtime Executions are now Semantic Selectors.
Agents
  • Agents support OpenTelemetry (OTEL) trace export, allowing you to stream agent runs, LLM calls, tool usage, and guardrail evaluations to OTEL-compatible observability platforms for monitoring and debugging.
Data Fabric
  • We've made a security improvement that performs RBAC validation prior to Data Fabric event delivery.
  • Integration Service-based activities are only available in Maestro, API workflows, and agents where traditional Studio activities are not available.
  • The Query Entity Records activity now includes a built-in filter builder.
  • You can use a star schema architecture when connecting entities to multiple systems.
  • We are reducing the number of external systems that can be used for field referencing, as part of our focus on stability, performance, and predictable behavior.
  • Data Fabric supports the search and filter functionalities for external fields.
  • Query Multiple Entity Records, a new Data Fabric activity, is now available.
Document Understanding
  • Runtime permission checks for Document Understanding projects are generally available and let you control which users, groups, and robots can discover and run models.
  • Document Understanding API v2 (Preview) introduces taxonomy-driven extraction and validation, business rule evaluation, enhanced non-Latin support, and IXP FieldGroup results for richer, more flexible automation. Upgrading to Document Understanding API v2 requires updates to existing v1 automations.
Integration Service
  • The HTTP Request activity is available for the OpenAI V1 Compliant LLM connector.
IXP
  • IXP service administrators can enable runtime permission checks for Unstructured and Complex Documents projects from Manage Access.
Maestro
  • Maestro introduces per-node error handling with flexible error mappings, automatic error start events for subprocesses, and clear validation warnings for invalid expressions.
  • Data handling becomes faster and smarter with combined Loop outputs, field-based Data Fabric queries, and seamless Data Fabric update.
  • Debugging and maintainability improve with agent debug jobs, automatic variable ID updates on rename, and accurate variable scope handling across subprocesses.
Orchestrator
  • The Storage Buckets API supports multiple OAuth scopes, enabling more granular access control.
  • The Latest jobs card on the homepage provides at-a-glance visibility into recent job activity and key execution details.
  • The folder side panel automatically collapses on smaller screen resolutions to optimize workspace usability.
  • Credential Stores selection in folder-level access rules includes search functionality for faster configuration.
Process Mining
  • Access control for Process Mining is managed through the UiPath standardized authorization model. This ensures consistent permission handling, improved governance, and better alignment with platform-wide security standards.
  • BPMN model import detects where mutually exclusive paths rejoin, which makes an explicit closing XOR gateway optional.
Solutions
  • A new contextual Deployments sidebar centralizes deployment details and key actions in one dynamic view, making it easier to review, manage, and navigate solution deployments.
Studio Web
  • You can open multiple files simultaneously in the same Studio Web designer.
  • Updates to existing resources in the Explorer panel consistently appear in the Properties panel.
  • You can fix broken Integration Service connections directly in the activity card.
  • The Issues panel groups errors by the projects in which they occur.
Test Manager
  • OAuth support for SAP is generally available and RISE-compliant. You can use OAuth to authenticate via a secure token and a secure key, when working with the SAP-Test Manager integration.
  • You can select specific host machines for test execution.
  • You can select Claude Sonnet 4.5 as part of LLM configurations.
