Automation Cloud and Test Cloud
Late July 2026
| Publishing date | Release timeframe |
|---|---|
| July 31, 2026 | July 16, 2026 – July 31, 2026 |
Release highlights
The following sections outline some release highlights for UiPath products deployed under Automation Cloud in the July 16, 2026 – July 31, 2026 timeframe. For comprehensive release notes, refer to the individual platform or product release notes.
Automation Cloud Administration and Test Cloud Administration
- The Consumables Center is now generally available, giving Organization Administrators a unified, drill-down view of consumption unit allocation and usage from the organization level down to tenants, folders, and processes.
- Model hub in the AI Trust Layer (preview) gives administrators and compliance teams a central view of which LLM providers and models back each product feature across every tenant, with routing region controls, custom model replacement, and configuration history.
- The License Viewer role can now be assigned at the tenant level, giving team leads and business stakeholders read-only access to a single tenant's licensing data without wider visibility.
- Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4 and Claude 3 Haiku are deprecated on the platform, with removal on October 14, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively; automations and BYO configurations using these models must migrate to Claude Sonnet 4.6 or Claude Haiku 4.5 before the removal dates.
- The AI Trust Layer audit now records the inputs and outputs of IXP Unstructured and Complex Documents extraction operations.
Agents
- New assignment criteria — Workload, All users in group, Round Robin, and LLM inferred — give more flexible routing options for agent escalations.
Apps
- The Apps API now supports authentication using personal access tokens (PAT), in addition to OAuth-scoped external applications.
Automation Hub
- Administrators can archive and restore categories, create shared option sets reused across assessment questions, display inline assessment answers as a dropdown, and scope Business Areas to ideas, business processes, or both.
Automation Ops
- A new Use Bring Your Own Model only toggle in AI Trust Layer governance policies restricts model usage to custom LLM configurations, hiding UiPath-managed model controls and blocking requests to them.
Document Understanding
- A new artifacts API supports a decoupled validation flow: prepare extraction validation artifacts in Orchestrator Storage Buckets, then use them to create a UiPath App Task for human validation (preview).
Insights
- A data sync issue that caused some Automation Hub KPIs (such as time and cost savings on the Automation ROI Comparison dashboard) to display up to twice their actual value is now fixed; affected values may appear lower going forward, reflecting the corrected figures.
Integration Service
- The Snowflake Cortex connector adds a Run agent without an agent object activity for inline multi-turn conversations, plus generic HTTP Request support for uncovered Cortex API endpoints.
- A new Integration Service – Test Manager connector synchronizes Test Manager objects, test execution, and results with other ALM systems.
- The Amazon Web Services connector adds Relay support for the UiPath Managed Cross-Account Assume Role authentication method.
- Snowflake's Custom (password-based) authentication is removed ahead of Snowflake's own MFA enforcement; the Personal Access Token method is renamed Programmatic Access Token.
- Salesforce's OAuth 2.0 Password authentication method is deprecated ahead of Salesforce's Winter '27 retirement of the username-password flow.
- The HTTP Webhook connector adds header-based authentication, letting you require a shared secret on every delivery.
IXP
- Unstructured and Complex Documents is now generally available in the Singapore region.
- IXP models can now be deployed to an Orchestrator folder and added as solution resources (preview), making them available in the Flow canvas and in Document Understanding and Intelligent OCR activities.
- The AI Trust Layer audit now records the inputs and outputs of Unstructured and Complex Documents extraction operations.
Maestro
- Maestro BPMN processes can now be triggered by and interact with Orchestrator queue items, using a new Queue start event and a set of queue task activities.
- The Flow add-node menu is reorganized: transform and Data Fabric nodes move under a unified Data category, Delay moves to a new Wait for event category, and conversational and voice nodes are grouped under Tool.
- Running a single node in the VS Code extension now shows a live execution trace, matching the experience already available in Studio Web.
Orchestrator
- MCP OAuth flow (public preview): UiPath MCP Servers now include a built-in OAuth proxy so any MCP client implementing the MCP Authorization specification can authenticate automatically, with resource-bound tokens, Client ID Metadata Document support, and a per-organization callback-domain allow list.
- Coded processes running on Serverless Automation Cloud Robots can now call on-premises APIs through Relay.
- Maestro processes can now be triggered by Orchestrator queue items.
- Environment-related permissions are deprecated and will be removed in a future release.
- The Consumption field is temporarily removed from the job details sidepanel because its asynchronous calculation could be inaccurate; it returns once accurate reporting is available.
Solutions
- IXP models can now be included as a solution resource (preview), added from the Flow Extract node or from Document Understanding and Intelligent OCR activities.
- The resource explorer now surfaces link, change, and unlink actions for a component directly, showing the linked resource's kind, type, and folder location.
Studio Web
- Local setup for editing and debugging RPA workflow and app projects is rolling out to Enterprise accounts; the current setup remains available during a grace period ending February 1, 2027, after which a current UiPath Assistant version is required.
- Agentic processes built in Studio Web can now use a Queue start event and queue task activities to trigger from and interact with Orchestrator queue items.
- New Base64 to File and File to Base64 activities handle Base64-encoded file payloads in API workflows without custom JavaScript.
- Switching to a tracked remote branch no longer risks silently discarding work: Studio Web now checks for divergence and only prompts for confirmation when the switch would discard unpushed commits or uncommitted changes.
- Templates are now available when creating solutions in the Local Workspace.
Test Manager
- The Test Automation module in Orchestrator is fully deprecated, effective July 31, 2026 (previously announced for April 30, then June 30): Test Set creation, execution, and API-based test execution are disabled; existing test sets remain visible and read-only for migration into Test Manager.
- Autonomous Test Execution (preview) runs any manual test case automatically with Autopilot as an unattended automation, with model selection, secure credential reference, and live remote-control viewing.
- Autonomous Exploration (preview) lets Autopilot explore an application against a requirement, user story, or charter without a pre-defined script, with human-in-the-loop controls to pause, guide, skip, or stop.
- A new Integration Service – Test Manager connector synchronizes Test Manager objects and test results with other ALM systems.
- The standalone Autopilot Search entry point moved into Autopilot Chat as a built-in tool.
- Test execution names are now customizable using a template built from execution type, test set name, start time, and custom fields.

Release highlights
The following sections outline some release highlights for UiPath products deployed under Automation Cloud in the June 27, 2026 – July 15, 2026 timeframe. For comprehensive release notes, refer to the individual platform or product release notes.
Automation Cloud Administration and Test Cloud Administration
- Azure Private Link now extends to the United States region, with primary and secondary gateways in West US 2 and East US.
- Relay clients now report a support status of Up to date, Update available, or Out of support. Clients earlier than version 26.4.0 are out of support and can no longer register with Automation Cloud until upgraded.
Agents
- Agent evaluations add a Prompt coverage indicator in the prompt editor, showing whether each use case has a corresponding evaluation and an overall coverage percentage.
- Conversational agents move to the unified runtime shared with autonomous and coded agents, adding input variables, tool-call confirmations, per-response Orchestrator job tracing, and improved citations. Conversational agents now run under the invoking user's identity, and parallel tool calls are processed sequentially instead of in parallel.
- You can build agents from a coding agent or terminal using the
uipath-agentsskill, and embed low-code agents as inline nodes directly inside a Maestro Flow project, both available in preview. - The Analyze Files tool, which lets agents process uploaded file content with LLMs for summarization, extraction, and reasoning, is now generally available.
Apps
- A new public Apps API lets you manage app deployments and published apps, with dedicated OAuth scopes.
Automation Hub
- Process Repository supports sub-process hierarchies up to four nesting levels, and a new OpenAPI endpoint lets you delete an automation programmatically.
Document Understanding

Helix Extractor 1.0 is deprecated, with general availability of 2.0 on July 30, a training cutoff in mid-July, and automatic migration by the end of August.
- The trainable splitter Measure tab now reports Splitting, Classification, and Overall F1 scores (the harmonic mean of precision and recall) instead of Precision and Recall.
- AI/Platform Unit consumption for classification and extraction is now charged per operation instead of a flat rate per page. Digitization remains free.
Integration Service
- A new MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector (preview) connects to any remote MCP server and dynamically invokes its tools from RPA, API Workflow, and Maestro automations.
- The Google Vertex connector adds support for Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite; Gemini 2.0 Flash is discontinued.
- The Snowflake connector's Custom (password) authentication is being removed starting July 20, 2026, ahead of Snowflake's own MFA (multi-factor authentication) enforcement.
- The Database Hub connector is now generally available in RPA workflows, in addition to API Workflow and Maestro, with new Record Created and Record Updated triggers across SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Databricks, and Redshift. Snowflake database support is removed from Database Hub in favor of the dedicated Snowflake connector.
- The HTTP Webhook connector adds header-based authentication, letting you require a shared secret in a designated header on every delivery.
IXP
- AI/Platform Unit consumption for Unstructured and Complex Documents extraction is now charged per operation instead of a flat rate per page.
Maestro
- Data Fabric operations in Maestro now support composite entities, and Data Fabric expressions in BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) can reference bindings and variables for entity name and folder path.
- Maestro Flow is introduced in preview, a new canvas combining agents, API calls, human-in-the-loop steps, document processing, and system actions into one workflow, available in Studio Web and the VS Code extension.
- Breaking change: Document extraction element output variables are renamed —
ExtractionResultbecomesresultandTaxonomybecomestaxonomy.
Orchestrator
- The default execution account for Windows (foreground) automation jobs changes from Run as Myself to Any.
- You can bulk edit queue items from the Transactions grid, including priority, postpone or due date, and reset progress.
- Encrypted queues now also encrypt Processing Exceptions, in addition to Specific Data and Output.
- Video recording API endpoints for downloading and deleting job and queue item recordings are now public in Swagger.
- Environment-related permissions are deprecated and will be removed in a future release.
Studio Web
- A new Remove unused packages action removes unused packages from a project or solution, with a rollback-safe snapshot taken before removal.
- Maestro Case and Maestro Flow (preview) are now available as project types in Studio Web.
Test Manager
- Test with Coding Agents (preview) lets a coding agent read test cases, results, and coverage, and write results and metadata back to Test Manager, plus trigger and monitor test sets from the terminal, using the
uip tmtool.
