Run tests from a default project

Test Manager provides a default project on your tenant that stores the results of executions that do not specify a project. You can run tests from the UiPath Command Line Interface (CLI), uip, without first creating a project in Test Manager. Existing pipelines that do not pass a project keep working.

The default project has the following properties:

• Test Manager creates it automatically the first time it is requested through the API. Enabling Test Manager does not create it.
• Its name is TMDefaultProject and its project prefix is TMDP.
• Tenant administrators can designate an existing project as the default with the new Default project for execution results setting on the General tab of the tenant level settings.

Running tests without a project is available in the UiPath CLI (uip) only. The .NET CLI and API runs still require a project. For more information, refer to Default project for execution results.

Custom fields of type URL

Create custom fields of type URL to link requirements, test cases, and test sets to the Jira issues, specifications, and internal documents they relate to. Each URL field stores a URL and an optional display text, shown as a clickable link that opens in a new browser tab.
