General Release Notes - Document Understanding

29 February

Bug Fixes

  • When applying filters from the Build section of your project, the total number of documents was not displayed. This is now fixed and the total number of documents is displayed, while the Annotate button is also enabled when you have at least one document.
  • The automatic scroll to the selected document when navigating through documents using the preview dialog is now working correctly.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue related to fields color coding during annotation. Previously, several fields were assigned the same color, and this is now fixed.
  • Fixed an issue related to bulk confirmation during annotation. Previously, when confirming several changes in bulk, the values that were already confirmed manually were overwritten. This is now changed, and a value that is selected manually is no longer overwritten when pressing Confirm during annotation.

What's New

Released in Endpoints + DocumentUnderstanding + Data Extraction ML Packages | v23.10.3

A new version for all Out-of-the-box pre-trained ML Packages part of AI Center is now available for general usage.

This new version brings a bug fix related to the extraction of bidirectional (left-to-right and right-to-left) text values.

Note: Currently, our platform does not have localization for right-to-left languages (such as Hebrew or Arabic). As a result, when combined with punctuation marks or special characters, text in those languages which appears in annotation interface (Document Manager) or validation interface (Validation Station in Action Center) is not displayed correctly. However, if the values of the strings are entered into an application which has right-to-left reading mode enabled, the text should be displayed correctly. A typical example is Notepad, where right-to-left reading order is enabled.
