- Release Notes
December 2022
This feature is only available to enterprise customers.
The IP Restriction feature is now in public preview and is therefore available to all enterprise customers.
The new option is available under Admin > organization > Security Settings, on the new IP Restriction tab.
Changes since private preview
- You now define trusted IP ranges as sets of IP addresses and you must now use the Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) format.
-
We have eliminated several incompatibility issues:
- You can now use the UiPath Integration Service while IP restriction is enabled.
- For Cloud Robots - VM, you no longer need to use static IP addresses for machines.
- You can now use Cloud Robots - Serverless while IP restriction is enabled.
- For Elastic Robot Orchestration, you no longer need to add your CSP's VNet IP range to the list of trusted IPs.
Erratum: Added 19 December 2022
Marketplace is available as a service in Automation Cloud, and you can access it from the left navigation bar, provided the organization admin has made it visible.
Read more about Marketplace.
As an administrator, you can hide Marketplace and StudioWeb icons from the left sidebar, by turning off their toggles on the Tenant > Settings > Advanced page. However, your users can still access Marketplace or StudioWeb through a direct link.
Read more about hiding unused services.
StudioWeb is a preview service and it is currently available for organizations with the Community license plan, therefore the toggle that hides or displays it in the left sidebar won't be visible.
The UiPath Integration Service should always be available to ensure smooth functioning of the platform as a whole. For this reason, Integration Service is now always automatically provisioned for each tenant.
If you previously did not provision the service during tenant creation or if you disabled it, we will provision and enable the service automatically with this update.
Managing and Using the Service
After this update, Integration Service is no longer available to be managed as a service under tenants. You no longer need to select it during tenant creation and you do not have access to its service options as is the case for other services.
The service remains available in navigation, from either the left rail, or the App launcher (top left corner), for when you need to use it.
The list of UiPath services available in Delayed Update organizations has been enriched with the following:
- Computer Vision
- Cloud Robots - Serverless
- Integration Service
The date when a change is first announced in the release notes is the date when it first becomes available.
If you don't see the change yet, you can expect to see it soon, after we roll out changes to all the regions.
We recommend that you regularly check the deprecation timeline for any updates regarding features that will be deprecated and removed.
