Recording methods

When creating a new project, you are asked to select the recording method. Below is an overview of the available recording methods for Task Mining.

Task Mining

Use this option for cases where you know the task to capture and want to collect your peers' expertise to build a complete picture of it.

Unassisted Task Mining

Use this option when you want to capture the work of your team for a while, analyze the captured actions, and as a result, receive potential action opportunities. Note: Carefully read the recommendations for starting an Unassisted Task Mining project when creating a new project. You are stongly recommended to take the Guided Self-Assessment from the linked assessment spreadsheet to evaluate suitability before starting an Unassisted Task Mining project.
