Editing a project
Follow the steps below to edit the details of an existing Task Mining project.
-
In the Task Mining Projects portal, locate the Task Mining project you want to edit.
-
Select the icon on the project card, and select Edit from the menu. The Edit Project panel is displayed.
Tip:You can also edit a project when viewing a trace. Select Edit project from the header bar to open the Edit project panel.
-
Rename your project in the Project name box.
-
If needed, edit the Recording context description to inform the recording users about the goal of the recording. For example, you can describe the scenario you want the user to record and add notes for the user to pay attention to when recording.
-
If desired, change the project status.
-
If desired, change the Language setting for the recording.
Note:English and Japanese are the supported languages for recording in Task Mining.
Important:Only new traces will be recorded in the newly selected language.
Note that you can merge traces with different recording languages, but this might not produce meaningful or accurate results due to differences in processing algorithms for the different languages.
-
Check the privacy settings for the project.
