Delegate overview

What you can do with Delegate, the general-purpose profile, and how it completes a task from a plain-language request to a finished result.

Delegate is the general-purpose profile: the default experience, for whatever task you bring to it, across your applications, files, and web services.

Record yourself performing a task once, then have Delegate turn that recording into a routine or a knowledge skill it can repeat on your behalf. Useful when a system has no usable API and a full automation would cost more than the task is worth. See Recording your tasks.

Save any successful Delegate session as a reusable routine — built once, like "weekly sales pipeline report" or "monthly expense categorization," a routine can be run on demand with a single click or scheduled to run automatically. You invest the time once to teach Delegate a workflow, then benefit from it repeatedly, and can share it with your team instead of each person rebuilding it. See Repeating work with Routines.

How Delegate works
