Greenhouse authentication

Prerequisites

To be able to create a connection, you require an email address associated with your Greenhouse account, as well as an API Key.

Generating an API key for Greenhouse

1. Log in to Greenhouse: Access your account with admin privileges.

2. Access API Settings: Go to Settings or Configuration, then find the API credentials or integrations section.

3. Create New API Key: Select the option to create a new API key and choose the key type relevant to your needs (e.g., Harvest API).

4. Configure API Key: Give the key a descriptive name and assign appropriate permissions.

5. Generate and Save Key: Generate the key and securely store it, as it won't be visible again for security reasons.

6. Use API Key: Include the API key in the request header as an authorization token when making API calls.

7. Test and Monitor: Test the key with a simple API call to ensure it's working and monitor its usage for security.

Add the Greenhouse connection

1. In Integration Service, select the Greenhouse connector and select Connect to Greenhouse.
2. Insert your Email and the API Key for your Greenhouse instance and hit Connect.
3. Your connection to Greenhouse is now established.
