Improvements

• The license agreement of the .exe installer file is now available in all the languages supported by Task Capture.
• To enhance the experience of users from a company that uses a specific style template for their PDD generation, you now have the option to set up a custom template(s) during the .msi installation process. The templates can be set up via custom parameters for CLI. Please access the Command Line Parameters page for details about this enhancement.

Fixed Bugs

• When Launching Task Capture for the first time, the default set up language was English even if the installation was done in another language.
• Export & Publish: if the action metadata did not have a selector property, the XAML export was failing.
• Action Editor: if an Image Editor element is added to a page and after is copied, it was not pasted to another image properly.
• If during the capturing process, the user clicked the Space key, the corresponding action description was inaccurate.
• If during the capturing process, the user typed a text in a corresponding tool, the typed text was not displayed in the description.
• Task Capture did not close after uninstalling, even if the Automatically close application box was checked during the uninstallation process.
• If an Action was added to a sequence through the Empty Action option this was not displayed if the workflow was exported to UiPath Studio. Now the Empty Action is mapped into Log Message activity.

• The statistics available in PDD were calculated inaccurately:

  • Text Entries calculated not only how many times the user typed in words, but also the hotkeys and special keys used.
  • Keys Pressed calculated not only the number of pressed keys by the user but also the number of letters of the pressed key name.
