Task Capture
Last updated Dec 5, 2024
2020.10.3
Release date: 18 January 2021
One of our major focus points is the security of your data while using Task Capture. This is why, starting with the 2020.10.3 version, you can easily set up the proxy through a configuration system that allows you to set up the proxy taken into account both the Task Capture installation status as well as the installer file used.
Please access the Configuring Proxy Settings for more details.
To enhance your recording experience we've added the following options:
- A Start button is added to the capturing window allowing you to better control the process.
- A Title and a Description can be added to each captured action during the recording process.
- Continuing our redesign process initiated in v2020.10.2 in order to improve your experience while navigating and using the tool's options, the diagram editor allows you to automatically connect two elements in case the one between them is removed.
- As deleting an action was easy to overlook, we have now added a notification message that is displayed when clicking the Delete button. This way you can easily undo the operation if it was performed accidentally.
-
We have updated the tooltips displayed when:
- branding settings are updated;
- opening a document from Automation Hub and publishing it via the Update button.
- A Close button is now available in the Welcome window.
- The drag and drop option available on the Image Editor page was functioning in an inconsistent manner.
- When accessing the Action Editor the toolbar design was inconsistent when switching between a recorded action and an empty one.
- The creation date of the default templates displayed on the Template View page was incorrect.
-
Task Capture did not run if the registry access was restricted.
- One of the diagram elements was displayed as selected in the high-level process map picture of exported PDD.
- The Undo action was disabled after capturing a new image using the three-dots menu on the Action Editor page.
