Enterprise Agreement Licenses

About Enterprise Agreement Licenses

Note: The Enterprise License Agreement feature is available only to customers who have a HAPO or ELA deal type with UiPath.

Inside Enterprise Agreement Dashboard, you can view and manage the licenses you are entitled to, as part of the HAPO or ELA deal. The Enterprise Agreement Dashboard displays information about the following:

  • Start date of the deal
  • End date of the deal
  • License availability
  • Consumption to date
  • Past requests.

In the Enterprise Agreement Dashboard, you can also provision license requests directly from Customer Portal, without reaching to your assigned UiPath team.

Accessing the Enterprise Agreement Dashboard

To access the Enterprise Agreement Dashboard, go to the page header and then click the Company tab. Click Enterprise Agreement Dashboard from the drop-down list.

If you have a HAPO or ELA deal and you can't see the Enterprise Agreement Dashboard in the Company tab, make sure to:

  • Check if the user accessing it has the appropriate permissions. Reach out to your Customer Admin.
  • Check if the feature is enabled on your account. Reach out to the UiPath team assigned to your account.

About the Enterprise Agreement Dashboard

The dashboards includes information about the following:

  • Deal start and end dates
  • List of license entitlements, grouped according to the terms of the deal.

The table below describes the categories under which entitlements are displayed.

License Details

Total licenses available from the deal at that point in time. This could change over time if it is a multi-year deal that has a ramp up or ramp down over the term of the deal.

Number of each license type or license group type that has been consumed (provisioned) up to that point in time. This includes pending requests that have been submitted.

How many of each license type or license group type that you have left. This is simply the total minus the used.

From the dashboard you can access the two other main sections of this feature - the Provisioning flow and the Past Requests page. Both of these are accessed via buttons to the top right of the dashboard.

Provisioning Licenses

Click the Provision Licenses button in the Enterprise Agreement Dashboard, to begin the provision request process.

The process of provisioning a request consists of License Selection and Order Submission.

Note: Once a license is provisioned, it will also show up on your Licenses section, inside the Company tab of Customer Portal.

License Selection

The license selection process is similar in concept to the process of requesting a new license. Based on the specific license entitlements of your deal, only those relevant licenses will be displayed in the license selection screen.

The licenses are categorized into four main sections: OnPrem Orchestrated,Cloud Orchestrated,Standalone,Process Mining. The table below describes each license section.

License section

OnPrem Orchestrated

Allows you to select an existing Orchestrator you already have, or provision a new Orchestrator.

When choosing an existing Orchestrator, you're shown the license code and the Display Name (if one has been added via the Licenses section). After an Orchestrator is selected, you can buy licenses that will be assigned to it.

In the Provisioning Licenses image, there is a new Orchestrator-Standard selected, with ten Unattended Robots licenses, one High-Availability Add-on license, and one Insights Add-on license assigned to it.

Cloud Orchestrated (not shown in screenshot)

Allows you to select an existing Automation CloudTM organization and assign licenses to it.

When choosing an existing Automation Cloud organization, you're shown the license code and the Display Name (if one has been added via the Licenses section). After an Automation Cloud organization is selected, you can buy licenses that will be assigned to it.

Allows you to provision standalone licenses, that are not assigned to an Orchestrator or Process Mining server.

In the Provisioning Licenses image, there's a standalone RPA Developer - Named User license with 15 activations selected, inside the Cart.

Process Mining

Allows you to provision Process Mining Servers,Business users, or Developer user licenses.

After adding licenses to your cart, click the Continue button to go to the Order submission page.

Removing licenses from the cart

To remove a license added in the cart, click the Remove next to it.

Viewing remaining number of entitlements

To view the remaining number of entitlements for a license that you have available, go to a license card and check out the number next to Available.

Order Submission

The Order Submission process consists of having to fill in a form, submit your order, and finish the process of license provisioning.

The table below describes the fields of the form.

Form fields

Business/Account Name

The name of the organization that the requester is a part of.

The username of the requester.

Requester Phone Number (optional)

Fill in the phone number of the requester.

Requester Email

The email address of the requester.

Version (required)

Choose the version of the product that was requested. This guarantees that you get the correct installation manual when you receive your license certificate.

Whom else should be informed about your license request within your organization? (optional)

Fill in the email addresses of other members in your organization's account. This adds the email addresses in the CC section of the confirmation email, generated after submitting the order.

Add notes for yourself or for the UiPath team, about the request.

The Business/Account Name,Requester, and Requester Email fields are prepopulated and can't be modified.

To submit an order:

  1. Fill in the submission form.

  2. Click the Provision Licenses button.

  3. Check out your email address for a confirmation email, that contains a summary of the order, and a unique order number.

Note: The end date for licenses provisioned through this feature will automatically be the termination date of the deal.

Note: Once the request is submitted, you cannot edit the request in any way. The licenses you selected will be provisioned, deducted from your availability total on the dashboard, and delivered to you.

While some licenses might be provisioned immediately, others might be provisioned after the submission is reviewed. You should receive a license certificate via email along with the installation instructions, by the next working day.

Viewing Past Requests

On the Past Requests page you can view all your past Enterprise License Agreement provision requests made from the Customer Portal.
