About UiPath^® Assistant

The UiPath^® Assistant is a tool created specifically to turn the user's interaction with our robots into a great and enjoyable experience from the comfort of their desktops. It's the place where individuals can easily access, manage and run automations with just a couple of clicks. The interface can be customized to better suit the person behind it by choosing an avatar and a name for the robot, organizing processes in custom folders on the launchpad, or maybe choosing another theme. All of this makes the UiPath^® Assistant our bridge between humans and Robots.

Assistant を初めて起動すると対話型のガイド ツアーが表示され、主な機能を確認できます。このツアーは [設定] メニューの [ヘルプ] セクションからいつでも再開できます。

Robot のクライアントである UiPath Assistant は、ユーザーの入力に基づいてジョブの開始や停止、設定の変更などを行うコマンドを送信できます。

Although it is specially designed for attended use, UiPath^® Assistant doesn't impose any limits as to what processes you can start. This means that you're able to easily connect to Orchestrator and have jobs started from there.

Additionally, if you run into any issues while using the Assistant, you can start the UiPath^® Diagnostic Tool from the error dialog box to gather data related to the error.

After you install and run the UiPath^® Assistant, an icon is displayed in the system tray. Clicking this icon brings UiPath^® Assistant into focus, while right-clicking it brings up a menu from which you can access the Preferences, Orchestrator Settings, bring it to focus or Quit.

The Orchestrator connection status is also displayed in the UiPath^® Assistant next to the preferences menu.

インターフェイス

The user interface of UiPath^® Assistant consists of mainly two panels:

• 左側のパネルには、[ホーム]、[アラーム]、[Marketplace] タブがあります。

• 右側のパネルは「スタート パッド」とも呼ばれ、ここに表示されたお気に入りのプロセスには簡単にアクセスできます。さらに、右側のパネルには、左側のパネルで選択したオートメーションの詳細が表示されます。

At the bottom, the UiPath^® Assistant houses the Robot Identity avatar and a search bar for finding processes. Depending on governance policies, search results can also include items from the Automation Store, Marketplace, or Studio Web templates.

[ホーム] タブ

[ホーム] タブでは以下の操作が可能です。

• すべての利用可能なオートメーションを表示します。
  • If UiPath^® Assistant is connected to Orchestrator, automations from the environments and folders the Robot is a part of are displayed. Hovering over an automation displays its name, version and folder.
  • If UiPath^® Assistant is not connected to Orchestrator, processes from the %ProgramData%\UiPath\Packages folder are displayed. The Packages folder can be specified, as explained on this page.

• View all available Apps (from UiPath^® Apps).

• View all available Actions (from UiPath^® Action Center).

• 新しいバージョンが利用可能なオートメーションを更新します。
• スタート パッドにオートメーションを追加するには、コンテキスト メニューをクリックして [お気に入りに追加] を選択するか、左側のパネルからスタート パッドにオートメーションをドラッグ アンド ドロップします。

[アラーム] タブ

[ホーム] タブで任意のオートメーションのアラームを設定できます。

アラーム付きのオートメーションは [アラーム] タブの下に一覧表示され、オートメーションの設定開始時刻の直前に通知がポップアップで表示されます。オートメーションを開始するにはユーザーの承認が必要です。アラームを 10 分間スヌーズするか、アラームを閉じるか、プロセスを開始できます。

パッケージをダウンロードする

For automations marked with the Awaiting install status, UiPath^® Assistant first downloads the automation package. During this operation, the Automation details panel displays the size of the package and its dependencies.

Information

• オートメーションの名前、説明、パッケージ バージョン、パブリッシュ フォルダー - プロセスの作成時に Studio で入力した情報から抽出された詳細です。オートメーションが特定のアイデアに関連付けられている場合は、説明の下に Automation Hub の URL が表示されます。Automation Hub URL は、Studio の [プロジェクト設定] から入力できます。

• The Run in PiP toggle is inherited from the project settings in Studio. If a process is set to Start in PiP in Studio, the toggle is enabled. Changing it from the UiPath^® Assistant overwrites the setting from Studio.
• キーボード ショートカット - プロセスを開始するためのキーボード ショートカットを設定できます。

履歴

選択したオートメーションのジョブ履歴を、ジョブのステートおよびタイム スタンプと共に表示します。エントリをクリックすると、マシン名、エラー メッセージ、出力値 (該当する場合) などのジョブの詳細が表示されます。

実行中/最近のジョブ

実行中のオートメーションで実行中のステップを表示します。

オートメーションのステップは、ワークフローで [ステータスを報告] アクティビティを使用して設定します。これにより、オートメーションの実行状況と、各ステップの完了に要する時間を詳細に確認できます。

注: Studio でメッセージを設定する際に、ステータス メッセージを複数行に分割できます。分割するには、ステータス メッセージ テキストの行区切り文字として Environment.NewLine または vbNewLine を使用します。

Once the execution of an automation ends, the run history details are kept until you click on Dismiss, start the process again, or quit and restart the UiPath^® Assistant. Additionally, the Running tab is renamed to Recent job.

[その他のアクション] メニュー

[その他の操作] メニュー を使用してオートメーションを管理できます。

• Click on Delete personal automation to remove the automation from both UiPath^® Assistant and Orchestrator's personal workspace feed.
  注: 個人フォルダーからプロセスを削除すると、Orchestrator からプロセスが削除され、パッケージはそのまま残ります。
• [デスクトップ ショートカットを作成] をクリックすると、オートメーションをデスクトップから直接開始できます。
• [お気に入りに追加] をクリックすると、オートメーションをスタート パッドの [お気に入り] セクションに追加できます。
• [オートメーションへのリンクをコピー] をクリックすると、リンクを作成できます。リンクにアクセスすると、Assistant でそのオートメーションが開きます。リンクは、オートメーションの詳細パネル内のオートメーション名の横にある [共有] ボタンをクリックして作成することもできます。このボタンは、共有フォルダーにインストールされているオートメーションにのみ表示されます。

  この機能は Automation Ops ポリシーから制御できます。必ず 23.4.0 の ポリシー テンプレートを選択してください。

The UiPath^® Products Group

In the launchpad, you can find the UiPath^® Products, which based on the governance policies applied can contain thefollowing products or features:

• Task Capture の起動機能
• Assisted Task Mining の起動ツール
• Studio Web
• Automation Hub にアイデアを提出する

注: Assisted Task Mining の起動ツールは、Automation Cloud ライセンスでのみ機能します。

This section can be disabled from the Launchpad section in the Preferences menu of the UiPath^® Assistant.

Installing UiPath^® Assistant

The UiPath^® Assistant is available for both Windows and macOS machines. Here's how you install it:

Windows にインストールする

On Windows machines, UiPath^® Assistant comes bundled with the UiPathStudio.msi installer. You can install is using the wizard, or by command line when installing the robot. The application can be deployed in user mode or in service mode.

Use the following command to install UiPath^® Assistant:

UiPathStudio.msi ADDLOCAL=Robot /QUiPathStudio.msi ADDLOCAL=Robot,RegisterService /Q

Mac にインストールする

The UiPath^® Assistant is available for macOS machines as a .dmg file for both Intel or Apple Silicon devices.

インストールの手順:

1. Automation Cloud のリソース センターの [おすすめのダウンロード] セクションから .dmg ファイルをダウンロードします。
   • Intel Mac - x64 用のダウンロード
   • Apple シリコン用のダウンロード
2. DMG ファイルをダブルクリックして、その内容を利用可能にします。
3. アプリケーションを DMG ウィンドウから Applications ディレクトリにドラッグしてインストールします。
4. コピー プロセスが完了するまで待ちます。

アカウントにサインインする

1. メイン ウィンドウから [サインイン] ボタンをクリックするか、 をクリックして [設定] メニューを開き、[サインイン] をクリックします。
2. 新しいブラウザー ウィンドウが開きます。お使いの認証方法に従って、ユーザー名とパスワードでログインするか、利用可能ないずれかの認証プロバイダーを利用してログインします。

ログインすると、既定のサービス URL である https://cloud.uipath.com に対して認証が行われます。対話型サインインの使用について詳しくは、「対話型サインイン」をご覧ください。

注:

• If your organization is using a basic authentication proxy, the UiPath^® Assistant automatically detects it, and prompts you to enter the username and password. For more information, see the robot documentation on proxy configurations.
• 組織がアクセス ポリシーを使用して信頼できる IP 範囲を定義している場合に IP がこの範囲の外にあると、「UiPath Robot Error. Response status code does not indicate success: 403 (Forbidden) (UiPath Robot エラー。応答ステータス コードが成功を示していません。403 (Forbidden))」というエラー メッセージが表示されます。詳しくは、「IP でアクセスを制限する」をご覧ください。

Connections in UiPath^® Assistant

Connections can be used directly from the UiPath^® Assistant by accessing the Process Details menu.

既にコネクションが設定されているプロセスの場合は、リストからコネクションを選択できます。それ以外の場合は、同メニューから新しいコネクションを作成できます。

コネクションに複数のアカウントが関連付けられている場合は、ドロップダウン メニューから特定のアカウントを選択できます。
