Runtime permission checks

The feature runtime permission checks allows you to discover Unstructured and Complex Documents projects in Studio and request predictions from the project.

Note:

If you disable this feature, any users, groups, or robots in the tenant can discover and execute models.

Enabling runtime permission checks

To enable the feature:

1. Navigate to the Administration page.
2. Select Manage Access.
3. Select a project.
4. Switch on the Enable runtime permissions checks toggle.

When you enable this feature, only authenticated users or automations with a role, such as IXP Developer or IXP Automation User, IXP Project Admin, or a custom role, that contains the Project Execute permission in that project can discover the project in Studio and request predictions from the project.

Best practices

• Only grant roles with Project Execute permissions to trusted users.
• Review project memberships and role assignments regularly.
• Align role assignments with the security and governance policies of your organization.
