July 2026 release notes for Test Manager in Automation Cloud and Test Cloud.
July 23, 2026
Integration Service – Test Manager connector
The Integration Service – Test Manager connector lets you perform tasks on Test Manager projects and synchronize data with other Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) systems, using the Integration Service – Test Manager Connector to:
- Create/update/delete objects.
- Execute tests.
- Read results and related artifacts.
Event-driven workflows and trigger-based automations are not supported.
The connector is available in Test Manager (Commercial delivery) only when delivered via Test Cloud.
For more information, refer to the UiPath Test Manager connector section of the documentation.
Autopilot Search accessible through Autopilot Chat in Test Cloud
The standalone Autopilot Search entry point has moved, and is accessible only as a built-in tool inside Autopilot Chat.
This change applies only to Test Manager delivered through Test Cloud. Autopilot Search continues to be available from the Test Manager header in Test Manager delivered through Automation Cloud. Starting July 15, 2026, the standalone Autopilot Search entry point is no longer available in Test Manager delivered through Test Cloud.
For more information, refer to the Autopilot search and About Autopilot Chat sections of the documentation.
Customizable test execution name format
You can now define how test executions are named, at the project level under Project Settings > General > Execution. Use the Test execution name format field to build a naming template from the following variables: Execution.Type, TestSet.Name, Execution.StartTime, custom fields of type Test Set, and free text. The format can also be overridden per test set.
The default format is {Execution.Type} - {TestSet.Name} - {Execution.StartTime|yyyyMMdd.HHmmss}.
For more information, refer to the General project settings section of the documentation.
Autopilot failure status and error messages in Audit
The Audit log in the AI Trust Layer now displays three statuses (Succeeded, Blocked, Failed) for Autopilot operations. When a failure occurs, the Details panel shows a human-readable Error message field describing the reason for the failure.
For more information, refer to the Audit logs section of the documentation.

Expanded Test Manager MCP server tool coverage
The built-in Test Manager MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, available through Autopilot Chat, extends automation coverage to test step authoring, bulk edits of test assets, and test case parameter management with the following new tools, directly from natural-language prompts:
- Read prompt
- Bulk add test steps and Bulk update test steps
- Bulk update test cases, Bulk update requirements, and Bulk update test sets
- Bulk add test case parameters, Get test case parameters, and Update test case parameter
For more information, refer to About Autopilot Chat.

Test with Coding Agents [Preview]
You can now read, manage, and update your UiPath Test Manager data entirely from a coding agent and terminal — no manual triage or copy-pasting results required. The uip tm tool covers the full testing workflow:
- Reading test data — the coding agent queries test cases, execution results, and coverage status directly from Test Manager, giving it full visibility into what's been tested and what's failing.
- Writing results and metadata — the coding agent pushes execution results back to Test Manager and updates test case metadata, keeping your test records in sync automatically.
- Triggering and monitoring — the coding agent triggers test sets and tracks execution status without leaving the terminal.
The skill is available to install via uip skills install.
For details, refer to Test with UiPath for Coding Agents.
