Deploying models

Deploy the IXP models of your Extract nodes as solution resources, by deploying or publishing the Maestro Flow solution.

The IXP model of an Extract node is a resource of the solution that contains your flow. You don't deploy the model separately: when you deploy the solution, the model is packaged and deployed together with the rest of the solution resources.

In Studio Web, the models that you build in Extract nodes appear in the Explorer panel, under the IXP models resources of the solution. To remove a model from the solution, right-click it, and then select Remove from solution.

Prerequisites

Before you deploy, make sure that:

  • You validated the model performance. For details, check Overview in the Model evaluation section.
  • The solution has no unresolved errors. The Deploy button is unavailable when the solution contains errors. To review the errors, open the Health analyzer panel.

Deploying the solution

To deploy the solution, together with its IXP models, proceed as follows:

  1. In Studio Web, open the solution that contains your flow.
  2. In the toolbar, select Deploy.
  3. Complete the deployment form, and then select Deploy. For a description of the fields, check Publishing and deploying solutions in the Studio Web user guide.

Result: The solution is deployed to a solution folder in Orchestrator. The IXP models of the solution are listed in that folder, under the IXP Models tab. For details, check Managing deployed models.

Note:

To package the solution without deploying it, select the dropdown arrow on the Deploy button, and then select Publish. You can deploy the published package later from the Manage view in Studio Web, or from Solutions in Orchestrator.

Deploying the solution to another environment

When you publish and deploy the solution to a new environment, the IXP models are packaged, migrated, and deployed along with the rest of the solution. No additional manual steps are required to set up the models in the new environment. For details on deploying solutions, check Deploying a solution in the Solutions Management user guide.
