2023.4.0

Release date: 26 April 2023

The Insights team is excited to present a new release.

To give you a brief overview, 2023.4 comes with a new integration with Automation Hub, cross-tenant reporting, the ability to easily import and export dashboards, a new view that matches processes to specific applications, and real-time data export to Splunk.

If you've tried Cloud Insights, you might recognize some of the updates.

What's New

Automation Hub integration

This integration introduces new templates:
  • : offers a high-level view on the automation program, starting with a top layer with key information and benefits and other categories (Ideas and Users).
  • : offers an aggregated and granular view for how long the ideas in the Automation Pipeline have been in their current phase and status.
  • : allows you to use data from Automation Hub and Orchestrator to discover the most impactful automations in terms of ROI.
  • : offers a summarized perspective on how users contribute to Automation Hub with reusable components and how these snippets of code are used.
  • : offers an overview of the applications used by submitted ideas.

Cross-tenant templates

With cross-tenant reporting, you can now measure metrics across multiple tenants in the same region for your UiPath deployments. If you are an organization administrator, you will now see a new tab called Organization, where you can view and filter cross-tenant dashboards on specific tenants in the same region.

For more information on this, check the Cross-tenant reporting page.

Dashboard import and export

You can now export personal dashboards from the My Dashboards and Tenant dashboards and import them across environments. For more information on how to do this, check the Exporting and Importing Dashboards section.

Process Application view

A new view, Process Application, is available in the Jobs explore. This view matches processes to the specific applications they interact with.

For more information, check the Process Application data model page.

Real-time data export to Splunk

This feature enables the real-time export of UiPath Orchestrator events to Splunk.

For more information, check the Real-time data export section.

Improvements

Browser tab display

We improved the way browser tabs are labeled. The first label in the tab is now the page name with the product name after it. This makes it easier to find the tab you are looking for in your browser.

Data ingestion

The changes that take place in Orchestrator are continuously ingested into Insights so that Insights and Orchestrator no longer have data gaps. This data ingestion change also eliminates any data duplications that were occasionally possible.

General improvements

  • Dashboards from the UiPath Templates and Organization tabs are now ordered by title name in ascending order.
  • Download is now disabled on in the interface if a user only has view permissions and no group assigned.

Erratum - 27 April 2023

Insights is now compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.7.
